Shipping Policy

YHS Furniture coordinates shipping for custom commercial furniture according to product dimensions, quantity, destination and project requirements.

Transport and packaging

Possible arrangements include sea freight, air freight, courier, door-to-door transport or a customer-appointed forwarder. Large products may be packed and shipped in sections. Export-protective packaging is used according to the confirmed project requirements.

Freight is quoted separately using destination and cargo information. Customers should confirm unloading, handling, storage and site-access conditions. Transport time is not the same as production time.

Customs, import duties and destination charges depend on the confirmed trade terms. Inspect packaging and product condition on arrival and retain evidence for any transport concern.

Applicable Incoterms, cargo insurance, customs clearance, import duties, destination charges and delivery responsibilities are confirmed in the quotation or shipping agreement.

The inspection procedure and the time allowed for reporting missing items or shipping damage are stated in the quotation, shipping documents or sales contract.

Installation support and on-site service, when required, are defined separately in the quotation or project agreement.
