Custom Furniture Production Process

9-Stage Production Process

01

Inquiry & Project Brief

Share the project type, dimensions, reference drawings, quantity and delivery destination so the required scope can be reviewed.

02

Requirement Review

We review functional requirements, visible finishes, equipment interfaces, site constraints and other project-specific information before technical coordination begins.

03

Drawing Review

Client drawings, architectural details and reference information are checked for dimensions, interfaces and manufacturability.

04

Shop Drawing Approval

Project-specific shop drawings are prepared or coordinated for confirmation before production. Manufacturing proceeds according to the approved drawing set and agreed scope.

05

Material & Equipment Coordination

Surface materials, supporting substrates, metal details, hardware, lighting and equipment openings are coordinated against the approved specification and supplied technical information.

06

Production & Fabrication

Components are fabricated using the processes required by the approved design, which may include CNC machining, thermoforming, bonding, assembly and surface finishing.

07

Inspection

Key dimensions, visible finishes, joints, functional details and specified interfaces are reviewed before packing. Project-specific inspection requirements can be coordinated in advance.

08

Export Packaging

Furniture is protected and packed according to product form, transport method and agreed delivery scope. Packaging details can be reviewed for project-specific handling requirements.

09

Delivery & Installation Coordination

Shipment, site access, assembly and installation responsibilities are coordinated according to the confirmed project scope. Remote guidance or on-site support can be discussed separately where required.

What We Need Before Production

Approved Drawings

Confirmed dimensions, layouts, interfaces and relevant architectural details.

Material Specification

Selected surface materials, colors, finishes and supporting construction requirements.

Equipment Information

Dimensions, cutouts, cable routes, mounting points and service access for integrated equipment.

Project Requirements

Quantity, destination, packaging requirements, access conditions and required project documentation.

Production & Project Coordination FAQ

How does YHS start a custom furniture project?

The process normally begins with project drawings, dimensions, reference images, quantity and destination information. We review the supplied information before confirming the technical and commercial scope.

Can YHS prepare shop drawings before production?

Shop drawings and technical coordination can be prepared during the confirmed project process based on the supplied design information and agreed scope. Production follows the approved drawing set.

How is the production lead time determined?

Lead time depends on the approved drawings, quantity, materials, fabrication complexity, required components and project schedule. The applicable production period is confirmed for the individual project rather than applied as one fixed lead time.

How are materials confirmed?

Materials are confirmed according to the approved project specification, drawings and samples where required. Supporting construction, finishes, hardware and integrated components can vary by project.

Can YHS integrate lighting, equipment and cable management?

Project-specific openings, cable routes, equipment interfaces and lighting provisions can be manufactured according to approved drawings and the supplied technical requirements. Component certifications and electrical requirements should be confirmed for the selected project specification.

How are furniture and finishes inspected before shipment?

Inspection can include approved dimensions, visible finishes, joints, functional details, equipment interfaces and packaging preparation. Additional project-specific inspection requirements should be agreed before production.

Does YHS provide installation or after-sales support?

Assembly guidance, installation coordination and after-sales support can be provided according to the agreed project scope. On-site service, travel, labor, replacement work and other project-specific support are assessed separately rather than included automatically.
